Located at 1009 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, Banana Leaf: Malaysian Cuisine operates as a malaysian serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under delivery restaurant, takeout restaurant, restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 AM–10 PM. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came here with my girlfriend and we ordered the red curry, mango chicken with yellow rice, and beef skewers. Everything was delicious, and I especially loved the mango flavor in the chicken. The flavors were really well balanced, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Definitely a great spot and I’d happily come back again!

I always enjoy eating at Banana Leaf Malaysian Restaurant, and this visit reminded me why I’m a returning customer! The food was absolutely amazing and incredibly fresh. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, vegetable dumplings, Mama Chicken Basil Fried Rice, and the Kang Kung Belacanβ€”every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. This was my family’s first time visiting, and they absolutely loved it. We all left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back. If you’re looking for fresh, authentic Malaysian food, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

staff is ok, atmosphere is very good. their foods are not traditional Malaysian cuisine. the chicken satay is good. Hainanese Chicken Rice is not traditional (it just a yellow rice without flavor) and they charged us in full price, while in lunch hour. Veggie noodle is ok. itβ€˜s not good to see their foods’ quality going down.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the chicken skewers and the Singapore chicken noodles, and the taste was truly top-notch. Both dishes were packed with incredible flavor and cooked to perfection. I paired the meal with their pineapple juice, which was super refreshing and tied everything together wonderfully. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for delicious, high-quality food!

This was my first time trying Malaysian cuisine and I absolutely loved it. The menu is great and self explanatory, the waiters are helpful and nice, and I like the vibe and the bamboo interior. The food was absolutely delicious. I asked for mine to be super mild and it was, but still very much flavorful. The homemade roti canai is a must try! I’ll definitely be back for more. πŸ˜‹
